Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, either over the phone or upon arrival at the clinic, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Shape positive first impressions that foster strong patient-provider relationships for long-term healthcare engagement.
- Efficiently manage front desk operations, including handling multi-line phone systems and managing large volumes of patient inquiries or appointments.
- Execute data entry responsibilities with precision and accuracy to maintain patient records and appointments effectively.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to streamline patient flow and enhance the overall healthcare experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred, to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
- Strong phone communication skills with a pleasant and professional demeanor.
- Proven ability to multi-task efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Competency in computer literacy, including experience with multi-line phone systems or switchboards.
- Quick learning capabilities for those without previous experience, showcasing adaptability to new tasks.
- Basic arithmetic and organizational skills for effective data management and filing.
